My choir is often asked to sing at weddings so I developed a 2 part (SA) version of this famous AVE MARIA by Schubert. I have also substituted the original German text with the traditional Latin words. The piece can be performed by TWO part choir or with two soloists, or a single soloist (Soprano or Tenor) and accompanying C instrument and piano, or without the added melody line that lies beneath the traditional melody. The keyboard part can also be played by an organ or electric keyboard.
