Description
This is a two minute extract from Pergolesi's Magnificat, originally written a minor third higher, for Tenor and Bass duet. The present arrangement is for 2 part women's chorus or ensemble, or duet for Soprano - Alto. The keyboard part is a practical playable and readable arrangement that supports the vocal lines. The translation of the text is:
"He remembering his mercy hath holpen his servant Israel."
