Beschreibung
This is a sacred motet for Communion or Easter Week, even for Funerals, or just a concert piece. It is arranged by myself for four equal voices. The original is for five mixed voices. The tempos indicated are my suggestions. The Basso Continuo (organ accompaniment) is my addition. The motet can be sung a cappella.
Christe, adoramus te,
et benedicimus tibi.
Quia per Sanctam Crucem tuam
redemisti mundum.
Domine miserere nobis.
Christ, we worship you,
And bless you.
For by your holy cross
You have redeemed the world.
Lord have mercy on us.
