Description
This is a new setting for three equal voices of the famous Christmas tune "Greensleeves" with lyrics for Christmas first published in the 19th century. The harmonization is simple and traditional, with a touch of novelty. The Greensleeves melody seems to have been created by Henry the VIIIth and the original text is a love poem dedicated to Anna Bolena.
