Description
This is an Anonymous Italian Christmas canticle for 3 female or children's voices. It was published in a volume dated 1591. The present publication is a performing edition for three mixed voices: Soprano - Alto - Tenor and can be performed by either three soloists or by a mixed choral ensemble, also by a women's choir with altos that are able to sing very low notes. The text is very simple, seeing the baby Jesus, already one thinks of the Death he will have to affront as an adult. It can also be sung during Easter week.
